• The 60 stallions that have surpassed $10 Million in progeny earnings represent 11.2 percent of all Million Dollar Sires.
• Only two Thoroughbreds have sired Quarter Horses that have earned more than $10 Million: Beduino and Raise Your Glass. Beduino was inducted into the AQHA Hall of Fame in 2008.
• The 11 youngest stallions to sire over $10 Mil- lion are Apollitical Jess (born in 2007, who in 2018 broke First Down Dash’s single-season sire earnings record of $6.5 million when his progeny reached nearly $6.7 million), Foose (2006), Jet Black Patriot (2006), Carters Cartel (2005), First Moonflash (2005), One Famous Eagle (2005), FDD Dynasty (2004), Ivory James (2004), Valiant Hero (2004), PYC Paint Your Wagon (2003), Teller Cartel (2003), Jesse James Jr (2001, deceased), Oak Tree Special (2000, deceased) and Stel Corona (2000).
• Oak Tree Special has the fewest number of race age foals in this category at 573. Dash Ta Fame leads the Million Dollar Sires overall with 3,188 race age foals.
• Hall of Fame inductee First Down Dash is the Million Dollar Sire with the most starters with 2,070. Hall of Fame inductee Easy Jet is second (2,019), followed by Hall of Fame inductee Chicks Beduino (1,716), Mr Eye Opener (1,490) and Corona Cartel (1,483). Foose has the least number of starters in this category with 353.

• The oldest $9 Million Sire is Rocket Wrangler, born in 1968. The youngest is Coronas Leaving You, born in 2005.
• Among the $9 Million Sires, Easily Smashed has the most race-age foals with 1,667. Coronas Leaving You has the fewest race-age foals (509) as well as the fewest starters (356), winners (216), stakes winners (17), wins (505), and stakes wins (50).
• Easily Smashed and Rocket Wrangler lead this group by race-age foals, starters, winners and stakes winners. Easily Smashed’s 1,667 race age foals included 1,188 starters and 720 winners; Rocket Wrangler’s 1,628 foals included 1,221 starters and 762 winners.
• Coronas Leaving You’s average earnings
per starter leads the list of $9 Million Sires at $25,470, and his leading money earner accounted for the most earnings among the group (Open Me A Corona, $929,150).
• Rocket Wrangler is the only AQHA Hall of Famer among the $9 Million Sires.
• First Moonflash has the fewest number of winners among the $10 Million Sires with 233, while First Down Dash has the most at 1,423.
• There are only four Million Dollar Sires overall to sire more than 1,000 winners
and all three have sired over $10 Million in earnings: First Down Dash (1,423), Easy Jet (1,382), Chicks Beduino (1,129) and Co- rona Cartel (1,035).
• Runners by First Down Dash have the most number of wins at 4,014 overall as well as in this category. First Moonflash runners have the least number of wins of the $10 Million Sires at 475.
• There are seven Million Dollar Sires overall to sire over 100 stakes winners, only one to have sired more than 200 stakes winners, and all have sired over $10 Million in earnings: First Down Dash (254 stakes winners), Corona Cartel (170), Mr Jess Perry (146), Dash For Cash (145), Easy Jet (145), Chicks Beduino (141) and PYC Paint Your Wagon (102).
• First To Shine has the fewest number of stakes winners of the $10 Million Sires with 15, fol- lowed by Jet Black Patriot (17).
• Only one Million Dollar Sire overall has sired combined progeny that have won more than 500 stakes races – First Down Dash with 509 stakes wins.
• First To Shine has sired the fewest number of stakes wins among the $10 Million Sires at 23. He is followed by Jet Black Patriot (30), Teller Cartel (35) and Dean Miracle and First Moonflash with 39 each.
• First Down Dash, Easy Jet, Chicks Bedu- ino, Corona Cartel, Mr Eye Opener, Mr Jess Perry, Special Effort and Strawfly Special are the only Million Dollar Sires overall to have more than 1,000 Register of Merit offspring.
• Apollitical Jess has the highest average earn- ings per starter among the $10 Million Sires at $56,954, followed by One Famous Eagle ($46,451), First Down Dash ($42,599) and Corona Cartel ($40,675).
• Tres Seis, the #19 all-time leading sire of money earners with over $23.1 million, is the sire of AQHA’s #1 all-time leading money earner – Ochoa with $2,781,365.
• Of the 21 stallions with $20 million or more in offspring earnings, six are in the AQHA Hall of Fame: Chicks Beduino, Dash For Cash, Easy Jet, First Down Dash, Strawfly Special and Streakin La Jolla. Of the remaining stallions with $10 million or more in offspring earnings, four additional stallions are in the AQHA Hall of Fame: Beduino TB, Runaway Winner (the most recent inductee in 2018), Special Effort and Streakin Six.
