• The $6 Million Sires represent 2.9% of all Million Dollar Sires.
• The top $6 Million Sire, Azure Te, is the only Thoroughbred on the list.
• Five of the $6 Million Sires were born in the 2000’s – Furyofthewind (2003), Country Chicks Man (2001), Sixes Royal (2001), Corona Caliente (2000) and Southern Cartel (2000). Jet Deck is the oldest on the list (1960).

• The $5 Million Sires represent 4.5% of all Million Dollar Sires.
• Master Hand is the only Thoroughbred on the $5 Million Sire list and is also the oldest (born in 1966).
• Nine of the $5 Million Sires were born in
the 2000’s – Captain Courage (2005), Sir Runaway Dash (2004), Tac It Like A Man (2004), Zoomin For Bux (2004), Desirio (2002), Jumpn (2002), A Regal Choice (2001), Brimmerton (2001) and Spit Curl Jess (2001).
• None of the $5 Million Sires have more than 1,000 race age foals, but Windy Ryon has the most at 998.
• By Yawl is the $5 Million Sire with the most stakes winners at 36. Sir Runaway Dash has

• One sire earned his spot on the $6 Million Sire list with less that 10 stakes winners: Major Rime with 8. Jet Deck topped this list with 67 stakes winners.
• Jet Deck has the highest winners-to-starters ratio of the $6 Million Sires at 79.4% as well as the highest percentage of stakes winners-to-starters at 13.7%.
• Southern Cartel has the highest average earnings per starter among the $6 Million Sires with $26,628, followed by Furyofthewind with $21,643.
• Two $6 Million Sires are in the AQHA Hall of Fame – Azure Te TB and Jet Deck.
