• Nine of the $4 Million Sires were born
in the 2000’s – Big Daddy Cartel (2009), Freighttrain B (2008), The Louisiana Cartel (2007), First Prize Perry (2004), No Secrets Here (2004), Volcom (2003), Corona For Me (2001), Southern Corona (2001) and The Down Side (2000).
• The oldest $4 Million Sires were born in the 1950’s – Rocket Bar TB (1951) and Alamitos Bar (1959).
• Six of the $4 Million Sires are Thoroughbreds.
• The only $4 Million Sire with over 1,000 starters is Kitaman at 1,270. Favorite Trick TB has the fewest starters at 83. Kitaman also has the most winners (566), and Favorite Trick TB the least winners (44).
• Two $4 Million Sires have average earnings per starter exceeding $50,000 – Favorite Trick TB ($51,872) and Real Runaway ($50,275). They are also the only two $4 Million Sires to have fewer than 100 starters, Favorite Trick with 83 and Real Runaway with 95.
• Six $4 Million Sires have money earners who have earned over $1 million – Volcom (JM Miracle, $1,507,962), Favorite Trick TB (Good Reason SA, $1,446,727), Heza Motor Scooter (Rylees Boy, $1,417,264), Duck Dance TB (Merganser, $1,373,704), The Louisiana Cartel (EC Jet One, $1,370,385) and The Down Side (Double Down Special, $1,211,934).

• Three Bars TB, who is the oldest of the
$3 Million Sires (born in 1940), has the
most stakes wins at 177. Three Bars also • has the most stakes winners with 62, while Achievement has the least stakes winners at 4.
The Louisiana Cartel
Texas Dancer TB is the only $3 Million Sire with over 1,000 race age foals with 1,019, while Good Reason SA has the fewest race age foals with 100. Texas Dancer and Good Reason SA also have the most and least number of starters – Texas Dancer with 704 and Good Reason
SA with 61. Good Reason SA has the fewest number of winners in the category with 44. Four $3 Million Sires have more than
1,000 wins – Three Bars TB (1,574), Tiny Charger (1,454), Game Plan (1,050) and Murrtheblurr TB (1,006).
Good Reason SA has the highest average earnings per starter at $64,061, with Celadon coming next at $34,418.
