Trial #1 –
Race #3 – Wired For Royalty (#3) broke in second and dueled through- out, crossing the wire a neck in front for the eighth qualifying time.
CL Barbed Wire (#6) broke in front, but couldn’t hold on, finishing in second for the tenth fastest qualifying time. Turnpikers Candy (#4) was third.

Trial #2 –
Race #4 – Power Fade (#2) broke in third and quickly secured the lead, cross- ing the finish line 2 1/4-lengths in front for the second fastest qualifying time. Spotted Wagon (#1) was second and was followed by Codigo (#5) in third.
