Trial #1 –
Race #4 – Spotty Politics (#4) was third out of the gate and gained ground to finish first 1 1/4-length in front for the second qualifying spot. Kissmet (#1) dueled for the lead but finished second for the ninth fastest qualifying time. Relentless Mischief (#2) was third.
Spotty Politics’ connections include owner/trainer Matthew Eck and jockey Daniel Antonio Torres.
Trial #2 –
Race #5 – Eyes On The Wagon (#4) broke well and
quickly secured the lead, crossing the wire a neck in front, followed by Tweetie Bird (#2) in second and LD American Rose (#3) in third.
Eyes On The Wagon’s connections include owners Ashton Elder & Miguel Romero Jr., trainer Raul Rodriguez and jockey Bonifacio Quiroz.
Trial #3 –
Race #6 – Fear The Dragon (#6) broke on top and never relinquished his lead to cross the wire first by a neck for the seventh qualifying spot. Ferarri B (#3) dueled throughout and was second for the tenth fastest time. Tres Martinis (#2) was third.
