Fulton Performance Horse and Production Sale

The 17th annual Fulton Performance Horse and Production sale was held on Aug. 18, at the Cherry County Fairgrounds in Valentine, Nebraska. The sale featured offspring of Fulton Family Performance Horse stallions, including A Streak Of Fling, CS Flashlight, and A Dash Ta Streak, as well as a variety of performance horses from other consignors.
A total of 58 horses were consigned to the sale, and 50 sold for a total sale average of $11,475. A Streak Of Fling once again led the ranks as the leading sire of yearlings with a sale average of $16,500. The stallion was also the leading sire of weanlings with an average of $12,583, as well as the leading sire of two year olds with an average sale price of $11,895. CS Flashlight was again ranked second with his yearlings selling for an average of $14,500, and his two year olds selling for an average of $11,250. A Dash Ta
Streak was ranked second with his weanlings selling for an average of $11,500.
Topping the sale was Hip #14 Night Fling, a 2017 palomino colt by A Streak Of Fling and out of Morning Traffic by Frenchmans Guy. Morning Traffic is a futurity, derby and rodeo earner with lifetime money of $110,000, and still performing. Consigned by Michelle Hoffman Darling, Night Fling sold for $30,000 to Kathleen Collier.
Co-second highest-sellers at $25,000 each were Hip#41 Johni Chex and Hip#50 Rockstar By Design. Johni Chex, a 2009 black gelding by Chex Can Shur Doc and out of I Emma Scotch by Whisper In Scotch, was consigned by Chad and Faye Pelster and purchased by Bailey Young. Johni Chex is started in calf roping
and has competed in working cow horse and heel horse competitions. Rockstar By Design,
a 2016 brown colt, is by 4-time NFR qualifier and record setter Slick By Design who has

The 2017 Jud Little Ranch Production
Sale was held Sept. 30. The sale featured offspring of top sires, including Little’s leading barrel horse sire JL Dash Ta Heaven, whose foals dominated the sale.
Sales were up from last year, reaching $490,800 on 37 horses sold for an average
of $13,265. Fifteen JL Dash Ta Heaven offspring sold for an average of $18,187, while Bugemforcash’s foals sold for an average of $10,250.
The top four sellers were all sired by National Finals Rodeo Qualifier JL Dash Ta Heaven, who is by Dash Ta Fame and out of
WPRA World Champion Dynas Plain Special, by Special Feelins. Topping the sale at $40,000 was Hip #22 Smooth N Heavenly, a 2015 sorrel gelding out of Smooth My Credit by Cash Not Credit and purchased by Dave and Lori Zabel. The second-highest seller at $39,500 was Hip #4, Likedaladiesinheaven, a 2013 bay gelding out of Lady Rompin by Tiny Tornado Too. The third highest seller at $36,000 was Hip #33, Heavensfeelinspecial, a 2015 sorrel gelding out of Wee Feelin Special by Special Feelings. And, the fourth highest seller at $32,000 was Firin Ta Heaven, a 2015 sorrel gelding out of Flitin Firin Cash by Cash Not Credit.
