En tal circunstancia, su jinete, Mario Alberto López, corrigió su trayectoria cambiando de mano
el fuete en tres ocasiones para ponerlo en la dirección correcta. En la banda derecha de la pista, también JA Midnight Express (puerta 9) tiró hacia el interior y le cerró el paso a Warm Evening (puerta 8) y su jinete.
La carrera fluyó, de las 200 yardas en adel- ante empezó a destacar el alazán RG Golden King, que ya asentado en la pista ratificó su capacidad para dominar la distancia. En las
50 yardas finales su cierre fue demoledor, con- cluyendo 1 largo y 1⁄2 adelante de Saz Saz Zoo, mientras que para el tercer lugar hubo empate entre JA Midnight Express y Eye On Winning.
El tiempo de la carrera fue de 17.26 segundos, para un índice de velocidad de 97. Una Sola, a stout chestnut filly owned by Cuadra Samago, took first place in the Everardo Múzquiz Elguezábal Classic at a
distance of 300 yards and awards 277,500 pesos (approximately US $14,472). The race is reserved for Mexican sprinters three years and older.
It was a triumph with no exemption of com- plication for Una Sola. From the start, she shot towards the right and found Espejo Samurai (#9).
