Chicaro the sire of Chicaro Bill has his own returning the blood pattern in his pedigree. He is sired by Chicle and he is out of Lady Hamburg by Hamburg. The dam of Hamburg is Lady Reel who is out of Mannie Gray. The dam of Chicaro was Wendy by Peter Pan. Peter Pan was sired by Commando by Domino. Domino was out of Mannie Gray, the dam of Lady Reel. This gives this pedigree a 5 X 5 breeding pattern to Mannie Gray returning the blood of this great mare to Chicaro through his sire’s dam.
Domino has his own form of returning the blood in his pedigree. He is sired by Himyar who is out of Hira by Lexington. Domino was out of Mannie Gray by Enquirer who is out of Lida by Lexington. The dam of Mannie Gray is Lizzie G by War Dance by Lexington. This gives Domino a pedigree pattern of 3 X 4 X 4 to Lexington. Then we see that Lizzie G is out of the Lecomte mare by Lecomte by Boston. Boston is the sire of Lexington. The dam of Sweep is Pink Domino. Pink Domino is sired by Domino. Domino is sired by Himyar by Alarm. The dam of Domino
is Mannie Gray by Enquirer by Leamington. Thus we see that the blood of Leamington and Alarm are returned to Ben Brush when bred to Pink Domino producing Sweep.
The great Three Bars has a 5 X 5 X 5 breeding pattern to Domino. Domino appears three times in the fifth generation. Three Bars is sired by Percentage and out of Myrtle Dee. Domino is found in Percentage’s pedigree through his dam Gossip Avenue. She is sired by Bulse by Disguise by Domino.
Domino is found in Myrtle Dee through her sire Luke McLuke. Luke McLuke is sired by Ultimus by Commando by Domino while Ultimus is out of Running Stream
by Domino. Thus we see that the blood of Domino is returned to Percentage through his mating with Myrtle Dee.
We have another return the blood situation in the pedigree of Three Bars. The dam of Three Bars is Myrtle Dee. This mare is sired by Luke McLuke who is out of Midge, a daughter of Sandfly. The dam
of Myrtle Dee is Civil Maid by Patriot, who is out of Sandfly. So this gives Myrtle Dee a return the blood breeding pattern through line breeding to Sandfly through her sire‘s dam and her dam.
Depth Charge has a line breeding pattern to Domino and his full sister Correction that represents the return the blood. The sire of Depth Charge was Bold Venture. Bold Venture was out of Possible by Ultimus by Commando by Domino. Ultimus was out of Running Stream by Domino. This gives us Domino through the sire’s dam.

of Taps by Man O’ War and Taps is out of Shady by Broomstick. This is the returning of the blood through two 3/4 sisters Taps and Frilette to produce the great Top Deck.
One of the major stallions influencing the modern quarter racing pedigree is *Beduino. *Beduino was bred in Mexico by Justo Fernandez Avila. *Beduino was noted for his speed. His most noteworthy race was a $100,000 match race with Come Six, the 1973 AQHA Running Champion Aged Gelding. *Beduino won the race. Come Six was one of those racing champions coming from the family of Flicka.
