                                 The sire of Raise Your Glass is Raise A Native, shown setting a New Track Record in The Great American at Aqueduct in 1963.
Raise A Native won 20 of 21 starts, including the Preakness and the Belmont. His only loss was a second in the 1964 Kentucky Derby.

   Raise A Native become a noted sire. His foals include Kentucky Derby winner Majestic Prince and Exclusive Native, who is the sire of Triple Crown winner Affirmed. Alydar, who was second to Affirmed in his Triple Crown races, was a son of Raise A Native.
Raise A Native is the sire of Sparkling Native, who was a stakes winner in the
Oil Capital Handicap Second Division. Sparking Native was a sire of top Quarter Horses, including Native Creek ($208,691), Sparkling Moolah ($163,132), Native Tea ($167,060), and Watch A Native ($129,141).
Multiple World Champion Refrigerator, a three-time winner of the Champion
of Champions, is out of Native Parr by Heisanative, by Raise A Native. Heisanative is also the sire of Fols Native, who was a successful sire of horses like Fols Gold, winner of the 1983 Black Gold Futurity which was an Oklahoma non-pari-mutuel race worth one million dollars.
Raise A Native was sired by Native Dancer. The sire of Native Dancer was Polynesian by Unbreakable. Native Dancer was out of Geisha, by Discovery, by Display, by Fair Play. The dam of Geisha was Miyako, by John P. Grier, by Whisk Broom II.
Native Dancer won 20 of his 21 starts. He won the Preakness and the Belmont and his only loss was a second in the Kentucky Derby. He retired to become a great sire. His foals include the Kentucky Derby winners Kauai King and Dancer’s Image. Native Dancer is the broodmare sire of Northern Dancer, the Kentucky Derby winner and leading sire of horses like Nijinsky II.
Native Dancer is the sire of Texas Dancer, who also proved to be a good sire with his foals including Champion/All American Futurity winner Eastex. Texas Dancer was also the sire of Dancer’s Queen, who was
the dam of Champion Three-Year-Old Filly Queen For Cash. The dam of Texas Dancer is Lullah by Beau Gar. Lullah’s dam
 is Marullah, who is out of Marguery by Sir Gallahad III by Teddy.
The dam of Raise A Native was Raise You, a 3-time stakes winner including the Colleen Stakes. She was the dam of 14 foals with 11 winners and two stakes winners, including multiple stakes winner Kingmaker. Raise You was sired by Case Ace by Teddy, and she was out of Lady Glory by American Flag, by Man O’ War, by Fair Play. The dam of Lady Glory was Beloved by Whisk Broom II.
Champagne Woman is the dam of Raise Your Glass. She was a 5-time stakes winner, and was the dam of a number of runners including her most successful, 11-time winner Excitable Lady.
The sire of Champagne Woman was 1956 Champion Two-Year-Old Colt Barbizon. He earned his title based on one stakes win in the Garden State Stakes in the fall of his two- year-old year.
His championship title is an interesting one, as he was born in the same crop as the great racehorses/sires Bold Ruler, Round Table, Gallant Man, and Iron Liege.
The next interesting thing about Barbizon is that he is sired by Polynesian, making him a paternal half-brother to Native Dancer (the sire of Raise A Native, the sire of Raise Your Glass). Polynesian raced over a four-year period, winning 16 stakes races including
the Preakness Stakes. He was the Champion Sprinter in 1947. Among his sprint wins
was the Tobaggan Handicap in 1946, and
he set Track Records in a number of races, including the Camden Stakes where he went 6 furlongs in 1:09 4/5.
The dam of Barbizon was Good Blood, a multiple stakes winner including the Princess Pat Stakes at two. Then, she won at least one stakes each year racing from two to five. She was the dam of two stakes winners, including Bowie Handicap winner Hillsborough. Good Blood was sired by Bull Lea, by Bull Dog, by Teddy. Her dam was Diagnosis by Sweep and out of Noowa by Meddler.
