Zoomin Effortlessly lived up to his name at Remington Park. The 5-year-old gelding extended an impressive win streak, capturing the $100,000 Leo Stakes on April 2. Competing in the first Grade 1 for older horses held at Remington this season, Zoomin Effortlessly won his seventh consecutive race. That streak includes five restricted or graded stakes events. A heavy favorite
at the betting window enjoy- ing even-money odds, Zoomin Effortlessly snared a $59,730 payday for owner Telesforo Perrett of Houston, Texas, and the gelding’s cumulative bank- roll now stands at $340,131, with the vast majority of the earnings coming during this win streak.
Trained by Rick Robinson, Zoomin For Bux was third from the gates, but was running a close second at the first call. Then, seizing

It was in the running of the $100,000 Remington Park Juvenile at Remington Park on April 24 that Omar Reyes took over the
riding assignment and made Okies CC a stakes winner in their first out together.
With a stiff 28 mph head wind, Okies CC split the wind like a wedge and crossed the wire a nose in front to stop the clock in :17.343 for the 330-yard race.
The brown filly also banked the first place check of $40,820, which increased her total bankroll to $43,874.
Okies CC finished sec- ond in her Remington Park Futurity-RG3 trial heat on April 8. Although she failed to qualify to the big event, the $100,000 Juvenile was no small consolation.

the lead, he opened a 1-length advantage by the time he entered the stretch. Zoomin For Bux ran away from the competition after
that, cruising to a 2 1/2-length victory in his first out at Remington, which marked his 13th win in 20 starts.
Jockey Santos Carrizales was aboard as Zoomin For Bux covered the 400 yards in
:19.420, posting a 98 speed index. Carrizales said he was not concerned by the gelding’s start. “He’s kind of funny
in the gate,” Carrizales said after the race. “Sometimes he breaks great and sometimes he hesitates a little bit. By the second jump, he gives it all out. He can go 440 easy.”
Bred by Tommy Charbula, Zoomin Effortlessly is out of Royal Quick Affair, a lightly raced 2005 mare owned by Pamela Stone. Both of her foals have made starts, but
$8,200,” owner Joel Rod Pierce stated. “We liked her pedigree and conformation. We have not been disappointed. Next up for her will be the Speedhorse Futurity this summer.”
“She is a gritty filly and will give it up when asked,” added trainer Jerry Ingels. “She trains like a champ.”
“Our whole crew - from Tinisha and Kelly, who are grooms, to exercise riders and
Omar Reyes, who put a good ride on her - deserve credit,” Ingels continued.
Okies CC is owned by Joel Rod Pierce. The brown filly was bred in Oklahoma by Steve A. Holt out of 2010 Oklahoma Hi-Point 3-Year- Old Filly Chase This Okie.
The mare has produced 100% money earners from her two starters.
