Trial #1 –
Race #3 – RGS Gold Wagon (#5) broke on top and went wire-to-wire finishing 1/2-length in front, securing the third qualifying spot, followed by Tres A Royalty (#2) in second for the seventh qualifying spot. Lucky Eagle (#3) finished third.
RGS Gold Wagon’s winning connections include breeder/owner/trainer Roy Garza and jockey Andrew Samaniego.
Trial #2 –
Race #4 – General Hoss (#1) was third out of the gate and gained ground to finish a neck in front for the fourth fastest qualifying spot, followed by Rubys Night Out (#2) in second to grab the sixth qualifying spot. Louis Litt (#3) was third.
General Hoss’ winning connections include breeder/owner Hector Estrada, trainer Buddy Leon Clay and jockey Roman Cruz.
Trial #3 –
Race #5 – JND Wagon (#4) proved very much the best with a wire-to- wire victory, crossing the finish line 3 3/4-lengths in front to secure the fifth qualifying spot. Eye North (#6) was second and was followed by Lyghtning (#1) in third.
JND Wagon’s winning connections include owner Humberto Grimaldo, trainer Josue Jacob Garcia and jockey Roman Cruz.
