Barreling into third place is Peppys Painted Dude with 67 points. He is a 2006 bay tobiano gelding by Cisco Badger and out of Robins Bearcat. Peppys Painted Dude was bred by Janelle (Bray) Butcher of Linwood, North Carolina, and is now owned and ridden by Cathy Baker of Talala, Oklahoma.
Major Peppy Skip and Kelly Heaton took home fourth place in the 2D with 67 points.
Our 2D leaders round out with Dalts Superman Design. The 2008 sorrel tobiano stallion by Designer Red QH and out of Ima Bit Easy earned 50 points for the season with his rider Karen Orman. Dalts Superman Design was bred and is owned by Marc Orman of Okemah, Oklahoma.
3D LEADERS
Peppys Painted Dude won the 3D with 74 points, in addition to earning third in the 2D list. The PBRIP 3D second-place winner is
the 2004 brown tobiano gelding Tazahero. Bred by Carlene Ketchum of McAlester, Oklahoma, he is by Wegos Hero and out of Kitapoo QH. Tazahero and his owner and rider Melissa Whitfield of Nowata, Oklahoma, gained 55 points this past year.
Tru Cover Girl zipped her way to claim
the third-place leader spot in the 3D with 50 points. She is a 2011 black tobiano mare by A Tru Legacy and out of Rio Cocoa QH. Tru Cover Girl was bred by Joni Voloshin of Craig, Colorado, and is now owned and ridden by Mary Luton of Collinsville, Oklahoma.
Yogis Six Fols earned fourth in the 3D with 43 points. Top Rainbow earned 42 points to round out the 3D chart.
4D LEADERS
Tazahero and rider/owner Melissa Whitfield took home the number 1 spot in the 4D with 88 points.
Jetting into second place is a 2011 bay tobiano gelding named Dallas Flying Rocket. With owner Lisa Mullinax of Wamego, Kansas aboard, Dallas Flying Rocket flew to a leader position with 57 points. The gelding was bred by Bedonna Elaine Dismore of Snyder, Oklahoma, and is by Dallas Alley and out of Ms Sunny Satin Rocket.
Third place in our 4D leader list is Bo Ringo, a 2004 sorrel tobiano gelding. Bo Ringo earned 43 points this past year with his rider Haley Mullinax of Wamego, Kansas. The gelding was bred by Floyd Kalaka of Fort Worth, Texas, and is by Jedis Hoot and out of Supremeebonyringer. He is currently owned by Lisa Mullinax.
Peppylenas Mastrpiece is a 2004 black tobiano gelding and the fourth leader in the PBRIP 4D. Along with owner and rider Bonnie Harding of Adair, Oklahoma,
Peppylenas Mastrpiece secured 41 points
for the 2017 season. The gelding is by RR Riskymastrpiece and out of Lenas Crow QH, and was bred by WL Mattox of Buna, Texas.
Finalizing our 2017 PBRIP leaders is Ketchsfleetingporuno with 39 points. The 2010 sorrel solid gelding was ridden by owner Melissa Whitfield of Nowata, Oklahoma, and the two turned and burned to victory.
Ketchsfleetingporuno was bred by Don and Alice Ketchum of Indianola, Oklahoma, and is by Dos Poruno and out of Miss Ketch Me.
