Sammy James si 93 (Jesse James Jr-Lagaria, Blushing Bug) will stand the 2017 season at Marsh Stallion Station in Guthrie, Oklahoma. The 2009 sorrel stallion earned $154,518 winning the Mountain Top Futurity and was a final- ist in the Shue Fly Stakes-RG2. Sammy James’ first foals will race in 2017.

Second Painted Sign si 101 (PYC Paint Your Wagon-Stylish Sign, Vital Sign) will stand the 2017 season at James Ranch in Wayne, Oklahoma. Owned by The Mixer Ranch, the 2009 brown stal- lion was the Oklahoma Hi-Point Three- Year-Old Colt and earned $101,604 winning the Oklahoma Horsemen’s Association Derby and Will Rogers Derby Challenge. Second Painted Sign’s first foals will race in 2017.
I See Visions
I See Visions si 101 (One Famous Eagle-Vision Of Dash, Dash For Cash) will stand the 2017 season at Delta Equine Center in Vinton, Louisiana. The 2010 sorrel stallion is a stakes winner with earnings of $84,246, win- ning the South Florida Invitational and finishing third in the Evangeline Downs Derby. I See Visions’ first foals are wean- lings of 2017.
IVORIONA
Crowned Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa High-Point Champion
Ivoriona was crowned the Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa High-Point Champion on Oct. 29 following a wire-to-wire run in the third leg of the Speedhorse Triple Crown – the $94,700 Speedhorse Lone Star Paint & Appaloosa Futurity-G1.
Ivoriona first dead-heated for the win in the $239,400 Speedhorse Graham Paint & Appaloosa Futurity with PHQ Goodbye Earl at Remington Park on June 4. Ivoriona then finished third in the $89,100 Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Futurity at Tulsa Fair Meadows on July 30.
Ivoriona APHA (Ivory James QH-Friona, Texas Hero) was ridden by Jorge Torres in the first and second legs and was ridden in the final leg by Luis Vivanco - first time out together. The filly was bred by Mickey and Stanley Johnson and is owned by Randy Hill and Mickey Johnson, who received a trophy and belt buckle as well as an additional $5,000 bonus donated by Speedhorse Magazine. Ivoriona was trained by Stacy Charette-Hill in the first two legs and by Randy Hill in the third leg.
