Ted Abrams’ homebred Jessies First Down (FDD Dynasty-Jess A Classy Lassy) finished second with Cody Jensen aboard. Judd Kearl trains Jessies First Down, who earlier this year won the Sam Houston Classic-G2 and the Miami-Dade County Stakes.
Manuel Gutierrez piloted Politicaly Correct (Apollitical Jess-Senorita Tres) to third for trainer Adrian Huitron and owner Valeriano Racing Stables LLC. The 4-year-old gelding last year won the Hialeah El Nino Stakes and Oklahoma Derby.
