BABY TRICK

Baby Trick, ridden by Alejandro Gómez, won with a commendable triumph in a group of eight two year olds born in Mexico,
who were enrolled in the Cesar Pedrero Anaya Classic. The filly ran the 330 yards in :16.73 for an 83 speed index. The competition is reserved for non-winners at the time of their nomination, so this was the first win for the maiden Baby Trick who was bred in Coahuila by Everardo Múzquiz Elguezábal and who is the property of Rancho Santa Ana del Bajío.
The race, with a prize of $170,600 pesos (approximately $8,360 US), started with a clean start from the gates. This allowed all the contenders to show their skills and made the triumph of Baby Trick unobjectionable and transparent as she surpassed the group and crossed the wire with a 13⁄4-length advan- tage, bringing her account to $102,360 pesos (approximately $4,998 US).
Previously in five outings, the daughter of Sambaso Dancer out of Heavenly Trick (by Rare Form) had only obtained a third place. This was her sixth performance and she arrived for the first time in the winner’s circle where she was received by her Cuadra and Jorge and Álvaro Pedrero, children of the acclaimed Cesar Pedrero Anaya, one of the main promot- ers of Quarter Horse racing in Mexico.
With this win, one more victory is also added to the record of the young trainer José Marcelo González Godínez, who in the 2016 season obtained the license to act officially as a trainer for sprinters.
Second place was for J Quick (Jess The Man - Quick Ta Shine), ridden by Alan Alexis
Rizo. The chestnut colt is owned by Cuadra San Julián and trained by José de Jesús Valdivia.
Chocolata Ze Breez (Ze Dancer - Call Me The Breez) placed second under the direction of Moisés González García for Cuadra Diaz
de León and trainer José Manuel Martínez García.

Baby Trick, potranca alazana montada por Alejandro Gómez, se alzó con meritorio tri- unfo en un grupo de ocho participantes de dos años nacidos en México, que fueron inscritos al Clásico César Pedrero Anaya, al agotar las 330 yardas en 16.73 segundos (SI 83). Una compe- tencia reservada para no ganadores al momento de su nominación, por lo que este fue la primera victoria para la criada en Coahuila por Everardo Múzquiz Elguezábal y propiedad del Rancho Santa Ana del Bajío.
La carrera con premio de $170,600 pesos ($8,360 US aproximadamente) se desarrolló con gran limpieza desde la apertura de puertas, lo que permitió que todos los contendientes mostraran sus aptitudes y que el triunfo de Baby Trick fuera
inobjetable y transparente, superando al grupo con 1 y 3⁄4 de largo, para llevar a su cuenta $102,360 pesos (4,998 dólares).
Anteriormente, en cinco salidas la hija de Sambaso Dancer en Heavenly Trick (por Rare Form) solo había obtenido un tercer lugar; fue en su sexta actuación cuando visitó por primera vez el círculo de gana-
dores, donde la recibió su equipo de cuadra y los señores Jorge y Álvaro Pedrero, hijos del laureado César Pedrero Anaya, uno de los principales impulsores del Cuarto de Milla en México.
Una victoria más al récord del joven entrena- dor José Marcelo González Godínez, que en la actual temporada obtuvo la licencia para actuar oficialmente como preparador de ligeros.
El segundo lugar fue para J Quick (Jess The Man – Quick Ta Shine), montado por Alan Alexis Rizo, potro alazán propiedad de la Cuadra San Julián y entrenado por José de Jesús Valdivia.
Chocolata Ze Breez (Ze Dancer – Call Me The Breez) se colocó en segundo lugar, bajo
la dirección de Moisés González García, para la Cuadra Díaz de León y el entrenador José Manuel Martínez García.
