Handicap with the mare Chief Shazoom for Cuadra El Chaparral.
Allens Cash is owned by the García Reyes Family from the state of Puebla, who acquired him in 2007.
Alejandro García Jr. thanks the team, his family and all of Allens Cash’s supporters, but especially God for the satisfaction Allens Cash has given to them and other people.
He said: “We felt that this goal was difficult, even though he is genetically apt to run in long distance as an Appendix, because of the high level of competitiveness in the horses in the Clasico Velocidad. But thanks to God, the great heart of the horse and the jockey, even though they had a slip in the gate they recovered really fast and went on to have unbelievable speed. He is a magnificent and intense horse.”
García had a sure reason to feel that way because of the size of the field and quality of the contenders. Some of them had impressive race performances in the United States, such as The Wizeman (Remington Park), Th Dashin Version (Lone Star Park and Delta Downs), Rampage (Sam Houston Race Park), Regal
Tol (Los Alamitos) and Call Him Kong (Sam Houston Race Park).
Jockey Ismael Parra, who is a fundamental part of the team, talks about getting out of the gates from post position 10, “The horse moved one step back, looking for support but at the same time the gate opened. His reaction was
to jump out, and he went to the left side. I just supported him to straighten him, and once
he was on the run, I called on him a little bit because This Lil Contender was already in the front with a nice start and he is a real fast horse at that distance. We came out with a disad- vantage, but smaller than the one we had in the Clasico Inaugural, where we had the same horse in the front and had to go for him. Allens

Cash is an extraordinary horse and unpredict- able horse in that he always comes out with a surprise at every race and goes for more.”
In January of 2010, Parra won the Clásico Inaugural Handicap with Jessie O Toole, from Cuadra Azoom LP, who also broke the track record for 350 yards, with his time of :16.86 standing today. In April, Parra won the Clásico The Prize Handicap, and this season he has been impressive on Allens Cash, among others.
Allens Cash was bred in Kentucky by Bob and Bill Austin, and consigned by Bob Moore Farm to the 2006 Heritage Place Quarter Horse Yearling Sale, where he was acquired
by Rachuán Suárez for $6,500 USD. Suárez brought him to the state of Veracruz, México, for resale. Tomás Zamudio liked the horse and advised the García Reyes Family, who bought him and sent him to the stable of Miguel Ángel Uzcanga. His work as a trainer is well known, as his love for and care of the horses is the pas- sion of his life.
The unexpected results have taken the own- ers and all of Quarter Horse racing by surprise. The eyes of every Quarter Horse breeder in
Mexico are on Allens Cash, as evidenced by the fact that all of the available frozen semen was sold in 48 hours. The owners are undecided if he will go back to being a stallion, or if he will continue on this amazing winning streak he
is on in the sport. With only five outs at the track in three months, he is already well known outside the track as “El Taliban.” He is already becoming a legend in Mexico.
Allens Cash is sired by the 1993 stallion Shazoom SI-102. With progeny earnings over $17 millions, Shazoom is the sire of Shining Sky, Lett Her Zoom, Azoom, Mr Queens Mystery, Ragazzo, Pool, and many more
stakes horses. There where four horses sired by Shazoom in the Clasico de Velocidad: Allens Cash, Call Him Kong, Zoomin For Fun and The Wizeman. Shazoom’s foals have turned out to be good racehorses in Mexico, with his Hipódromo de las Américas stakes winners including: Chief Shazoom, License To Zoom and Cosabella. Allens Cash is out of Allen’s Cashmere, a winner and earner of $91,445. She is dam of a three racing age foals, and Allens Cash is the first stake horse.
Jockey Ismael Parra.
Allens Cash’s first record-setting run was in the Feb. 19 trials to the Clásico de Velocidad.
