Bulldogger Mixed Stakes
UD GOLDENBOY

o stranger to stakes events, UD Goldenboy
scored his third stakes win in the $16,400 Bulldogger Mixed Stakes at Energy Downs 307 Horse Racing on May 28.
Ridden by Uriel Dominguez, the gelding won the short sprint with a wire-to-wire victory by 3/4-lengths. He completed the 110 yards in :7.039, while posting an 88 speed index.
Trained by Calli Dominguez, UD Goldenboy brought home the $8,939 winner’s share of the purse for owner/breeder Lucero Uriel Dominguez, boosting his total bankroll to $88,820.
Raced in Wyoming and Utah, UD Goldenboy has won 16 races from 35 starts and has set two New Track Records. In addition to the Bulldogger Mixed Stakes, he has also won the Horse Palace Futurity and Laurel Brown Derby.
Dominguez bred UD Goldenboy out of multiple winner Bvlgari B, who placed third in the 2013 Ed Giles Memorial and Dixie Downs Futurity. She
has produced 100% winners from three starters, including UD Plain Jane, who finished third in
the 2020 Rock Springs Wyoming Bred Derby. UD Goldenboy is her first stakes winner.
Daenerys Targaryen (Zulu Dragon-Forced To Win) and jockey Terry Bennett finished in second for owner Skip Kahle and owner Skip Moody.
Makn Diamonds (Maknmoves-Diamonds Tiny Effort) and Flightofthephoenix (Fly Thru The Fire- Aqua Hawk) dead heated for third. Both trained
by Diana Garfias, Makndiamonds was ridden
by Valente Vorrath for owner Pedro Mena and Flightofthephoenix was ridden by Jarred Journet for owner Robert Fox.
UD Tootsie Roll (Pappasito-Bvlgari B), VVR Help Me Rhonda (Whata Corona Runner-Rowdy Rhonda) and Wanna Be Fierce (Fastnfierce-A SpecialReview) completed the order of finish.
AQHA WYO Distance Challenge

tolin Train ran like a runaway train in winning
the $45,530 AQHA Wyoming Downs Distance Challenge in wire-to-wire fashion on June 24.
Ridden by Jesus Virgen, Stolin Train broke alertly and immediately opened a length on his five rivals in the 870-yard marathon. Never in receipt
of any serious pressure, Stolin Train maintained a clear advantage throughout and crossed the finish
a 1/2-length to the good of odds-on favorite Dance The Dust Off who put in a big run late but ran out of real estate to finish second under jockey Nakia Teeter. Stolin Train stopped the timer in :44.678 and earned a speed index of 108 in the winning effort.
Owned by Goodrich Quarter Horses and trained by Scott Goodrich, the bay gelding by Desirio is now
a winner in three of 29 lifetime starts. The 7-year-old bay gelding has placed in 10 others, and the $23,675 winner’s share of the purse increased his career bankroll to $65,154. Bred in Utah by The Running A LLC, Stolin Train is produced from the Stoli mare Stoli Girl.
Runner-up and Grade 1 winner Dance The Dust Off (Coronas Blackdiamond-Magic Yard TB) finished second for owner Jewel Ramirez and trainer Clay Teeter. The 7-year-old gelding is a 10-time winner from 25 lifetime starts, and the second- place purse money of $10,472 lifted his bankroll to $160,422. Dance The Dust off was bred in New Mexico by Sarah Donaldson Rioux.
Roc Starr (Rock Solid Jess-Saigon Lady) chased the winner through the early stages and held third under jockey Tyson Lusk. The 5-year-old gelding is campaigned Reggie Anger and is trained by Travis Lusk. Roc Starr was bred in New Mexico by Randy and Linda Schalla.
Chings Pumba (Fastnfierce- Letsgokachingkaching) and Katies Boy Joe (Heir Joe-TB-Authentic Kate) completed the order of finish. DF Storm Tales was scratched.
Ron Cook WYO Bred Futurity
IVORYBUDSNBLOSSOMS

vorybudsnblossoms just missed in his career debut,
finishing second in his trial heat for the Ron Cook Wyoming Bred Futurity on June 3. He returned in the main event as the third-fastest qualifier from seven trials and dusted a competitive field of nine rivals to score in the $90,100 main event on June 17 at Wyoming Downs.
Ridden by Juan Rivera, Ivorybudsnblossoms flew from the gate and took command early in the 330-yard dash. He edged clear of his foes in the lane and crossed the finish 1/2-length to the good of runner-up Jets Eyes. In winning his first race, Ivorybudsnblossoms stopped the timer in :16.812 and earned a 93 speed index.
Owned by E.T. Joyce and trained by Josh Taylor, Ivorybudsnblossoms added the $42,347 winner’s share of the purse to his bankroll, increasing his earnings to $43,147. Bred in Wyoming by Brooke Black, Ivorybudsnblossoms is out of the winning One Famous Eagle mare One Famous Blossom.
Runner-up Jets Eyes (EC Jet One-Hawkinson Eyes), the fifth-fastest qualifier, finished second under jockey Jesus Valenzuela. A winner in his
trial heat, Jets Eyes is owned and trained by Kylie Aguirre-Valenzuela. Cantinera (Pappasito-James Diva), the fastest qualifier and race favorite, finished third under Jesus Canales for owner Pedro Mena and trainer Sergio Canales. The bay filly qualified for the Beehive Futurity and then broke her maiden in her trial heat for the Ron Cook Wyoming Bred Futurity.
KDB Dynasty (JR Dynasty Mountain-Steffies Dashn Moves), Double Quick (Flay-Little Foose Coupe), Tiny Captain (Captain Courage-Tiny Flyin Levis), Chase This Papa (Pappasito-Leading The Chase), Docs Whataform (Docs Fast Prize-Holy Whataform), SS Eagle Eye (Eye On Corona-Eagle Nation), and Mound Valley Glock (Glock-Chasin Streamers) completed the order of finish.
