GONNA B FAMOUS SI 84, $9,600
Gonna B Famous scores a driving 1/2-length finish under regular rider James Flores.
Race record: 2-2-0-0 Day 2, Race #4
Gonna B Famous is the only unbeaten two year old to qualify to the All American Futurity. Making his debut in the trials to the Rainbow Futurity, the brown colt and Flores won their heat by a clear 3/4-lengths but his time was not good enough to qualify to the finals. His next start was in the All
American Futurity trials, and he enters the finals with a perfect two-for- two record. Gonna B Famous was bred by McColee Land & Livestock LLC and is owned by Lone Star Land and Cattle. Trainer Gerald Reed is responsible for conditioning. Gonna B Famous is by Champion/World Champion sire One Famous Eagle, with more than $28 million, including three All American Futurity winners: One Dashing Eagle in 2012, Imperial Eagle in 2016 and Fly Baby Fly in 2017, as well as All American Derby winner Hotstepper in 2018. Gonna B Famous is a half-brother to multiple stakes winner Corona By Corona ($46,753). The colt is out of Grade 2 winner Louisana Corona ($186,206), a sibling to multiple black- type winners. His second dam is Champion Corona Cash ($1,542,880),
a half-sister to AQHA all-time leading living sire Corona Cartel. His third dam is Champion/AQHA Dam of Distinction/Broodmare of the Year Corona Chick ($591,326), from the family of Champion Corona Kool.

made one start prior to entering the gates for the All American Futurity trials. That was in a maiden event at Ruidoso Downs in July when Elm Creek Khrome was out of the gates tardy and ran a bit green, but still managed to move up under his regular rider Jose Alvarez to take third place. This was
the plan for the black gelding – to give him just one or two outs before the All American trials, in which he once again broke tardy to receive the ninth call from the gates. After a bit of bumping, however, the powerful gelding was in second by 1/2-length at the first call where he remained until the final yards. Up late at the wire, Elm Creek Khrome passed his rival and scored a neck victory. His time held on through the remaining heats and he was awarded with the final qualifying position from day 1.
