The Alberta Quarter Horse Racing Association held their yearling sale on Sept. 23 at the Olds Regional Exhibition in Olds, Alberta, Canada, with 8 horses selling. Gross revenue reached $96,400. The high-seller at $24,500 was Hip #11 Special Corona Wave (Wave Carver-Special Corona, Corona cartel), a yearling colt con- signed by Shady Lane Stables and purchased by Bugle Hill Racing. The 2016 sorrel colt is a full brother to three stakes winners and is sired by World Champion Wave Carver and out of stakes-placed half-sister to Canadian Champions Its All About Speed and Mezoomn.
