Trial #5 –
Race #8 – Rockcreek Blues (#5) was third out of the gate and gained ground to finish first 1/2-length in front for the third qualifying spot. Eye Am A Fancy PYC (#4) was moved up to second following a disqualifica- tion while Leona Coronado (#6) was third.
Walkin In Fashion’s connections include owner Francisco J. Garza, trainer Bobby Martinez & jockey Damian Martinez.
Trial #7 –
Race #10 – Walkin In Fashion (#4) broke well from the gates and drew away to cross the wire 1 1/2-lengths in front, scoring the fastest qualifying time. Jess A Lota (#5) broke on top and maintained second throughout for the sixth fastest time. Jess Vamoose (#6) was third.
Relentless Jessie’s connections include owner/trainer Manuel Francisco Mata & jockey Daniel Torres.
Trial #6 –
Race #9 – Relentless Jessie (#5) broke mid pack, moved to second at the first call and finished first by a neck, qualifying ninth. Just B Mighty (#4) dueled throughout and was second, followed by Clean Brew (#7) in third.
Tempted Seis’ connections include owner Rogelio Marquez, Jr., trainer R.L. Rick Robinson & jockey Mario Delgado.
Trial #9 –
Race #11 – Tempted Seis (#6) was bumped at the start and was fifth at the first call, but drove to the finish winning by a neck margin for the eighth qualifying spot. Domishay (#2) dueled and was second best, followed by Corona Babie (#3) in third.
