Continuing with the winners of the day, The Flash Verde (Royal Quick Dash-Streaky Dancer) won the shortest race of the day, the Fly On Smash, marking :16.97. With a time of :16.91, Angel Hill (Tolltac Daring-Barbara Hill), was the champion of the Creon Bryan. Angel Hill is owned by Haras Jasevieram and was ridden by jockey D. Leopoldino.
The filly One More Separatist (Separatist- One More Habit) was the winner of the Special Mucho Money race with a time of :16.73 under jockey J.A. Gomes. The Only PK Champion race was won by Feel The Granite (Granite Lake-Fiddlin Fly), with the mark of :16.95. The 3-year-old colt was trained by L. Levir and rid- den by jockey A. Cavalcanti.
In the Exodus Fly Toll ZO race, the victory went to Princess Streak RCH (A Streak Of Cash-Fishers Princess). Owned by A.P. Oliveira and trained by V. Ali, she crossed the finish line in :16.77. Have Daring Easy Car (Tolltac Daring-Racy Easy Fly) clocked :16.73 to win the last match of the weekend’s special races, the Flower Auction Stables Field / LM Stables
/ Stables St. Angelo. He was ridden by A.R. Lima. All of the special races were run at a distance of 301 meters.
Paint Horses took the track for the fourth Grand Prix Collection, with Treasure Chyanne (Chase N Treasure-Frosted Princess) taking the victory. Also run at the distance of 301 meters, this filly, owned by Eduardo Ferreira Lobo, crossed the wire in :17.74. Her jockey was Y. Souza and her trainer J. Tavares. Five animals contested the Grand Prix Collection.
Auction
With total sales of $900,000 (U.S.), the second Auction Haras Flower Field/LM Stables/Stables St. Angelo took place in the late afternoon of July 28, in Sorocaba, Brazil. With a good average of $29,000 (U.S.), 44 lots were sold. Additionally, eight covers of the excel- lent stallion Gold Medal Jess were sold for a total of $32,000 (U.S.). The event was put on by Benny Rosset’s Haras Flower Fields, Lucas Duda Mendonça’s LM Stables, and the Stables St. Angelo of the late Gianni Franco Samaja.
The highest-selling filly was Bohemia
Six LM (Dean Miracle-Talkabout Willow), which was consigned by LM Stables and sold for $96,000 (U.S.) to Viva Bahia, which has invested heavily in recent months. Among colts, the highest-seller was Ghana In Stone (SC Chiseled In Stone-Apollo Ghana MRL) also bought by Viva Bahia for $47,000 (U.S.) and sold by Haras Sudimar, Sorocaba, SP.
