Moon Fling is also the dam of A Streak Of Fling, a race winner that was a stakes finalist in the 2002 Blue Ribbon Derby.

The dam of Fast Fling is Fast Stripper by Sugar Bars and out of 89’er by King P-234. Fast Fling was bred by Bud Warren, the owner of Leo, Sugar Bars, Connie Reba and 89’er. Moon Beam Lady is the dam of Moon Fling and she is by Lady Bug’s Moon and out of Midnight Penny by Roan Midnight.

Thus, we see that the breeding pattern of 3x3 to Corona Cartel gives the pedigree of Southern Electric the mating of one of Dashing Mariah’s sons – Cartel Success
– by Corona Cartel and one of Southern Policy’s sons – Southern Cartel – by Corona Cartel that crossed very well to get this year’s Speedhorse Triple Crown Hi-Point Co-Champion. So again, we see how linebreeding plays a role in the horses produced today.
This has been a look at the pedigree of Southern Electric and his co-championship for the Speedhorse Paint & Appaloosa Triple Crown Hi-Point series. Next time, we will focus on Co-Champion DTL Chasin Tale and his pedigree. Along the way, we will take the opportunity to look at a stallion that has had an impact on the Paint horse runners.
