Q: Do you have a nickname and,
if so, what is it and how did it come about?
A: Not that I know of.
Q: What is the strangest personality quirk you have ever seen in a horse? A: Strangest quirk I have seen, we had a horse that always had his tongue hanging out, so when he would get excited he would bob his head up and down with his tongue flopping around.
Q: If you were not in the horse
racing business, what job would
you like to have?
A: I would like to be a business entrepreneur. Q: What is your favorite thing about living where you live?
A: Indiana, because we have Quarter Horse racing. We also live in a tourist town so there’s always something to do (Miller lives in Shipshewana, Indiana).
Q: If you could vacation anywhere on the planet, where would it be and what would you do there?
A: If I could visit anywhere, it would be Australia. I would like to tour some ranches and see how livestock marketing works there. Q: If you could sit down and visit
with anyone, past or present, who would it be?
A: If I could visit with anyone, it would
be my grandma. I always liked listening to her stories.
Q: Who’s your favorite athlete of all time, and why?
A: Charmayne James, because she took an ordinary horse and made him into a legendary barrel horse (James trained Scamper, a 5-time World Champion in barrel racing).
Q: What’s one thing you like about Quarter Horse racing?
A: Watching these amazing athletes perform. Q: What’s one thing you don’t like about Quarter Horse racing?
A: The thing I don’t like about Quarter Horse racing is the rules and regulations are not the same from state to state. I would like to see the state commissions work together to have a uniform set of rules.
