The 2D Champion was Randee Prindle and Star Dude Blackie with 83 points. Randee’s owned “Blackie” for about seven years, and they’ve participated in PBRIP since the beginning. The 2005 black solid gelding, who is by Star Bar Jodie and out of Leos Lonesum Dove (QH), was originally a rope horse, but found his niche around the cloverleaf.
“I’m blown away,” Randee said. “I didn’t haul him more than normal last year and wasn’t chasing points - he was just more consistent and we kept the barrels up.”
• 2D 2nd place – Classy Firefighter and Kirbi
Macoubrie with 82 points
• 2D 3rd place – Rumble On and Kelly Cagle
with 63 points
• 2D 4th place – Want To B Extreme and Jill
Beaty with 56 points

Wheeler with 52 points
3D
The 3D Champion was Belinda Wheeler and her horse LLP Susies Witch with 63 points. “Haven” is a 2008 palomino solid mare by Streakin Again (QH) and out of Go Too Susie.
“Haven and I have been competing together for five years now; she fits me very well,” Belinda said. “We love to run barrels together! A few of her accomplishments are 2015 Solid Paint-Bred Barrel Racing World Champion, 2015 Pinto Reserve Champion and the 2015 Pinto Reserve Horse of the Year, earned with Lance Graves as her jockey while I was injured and unable to ride.”
• 3D 2nd place – Hawks Smoken Legacy and Misty Schick with 59 points
• 3D 3rd place – Scooters Elegance and Deidre Weldon with 56 points
• 3D 4th place – HesARareTreasure and Eileen Wall with 48 points
• 3D 5th place – Classy Firefighter and Kirbi Macoubrie with 42 points
4D
The 4D Champion was Haley Mullinax and Bo Ringo with 71 points. “Bo” is by Jedis Hoot and out of Supremeebonyringer.
“It has been an adventure for Bo and I the last three years,” Haley said. “He is one of the best barrel horses I could ask for; he is fast and agile on the pattern. He has become like a big brother to me, in a strange way. I can find ways that I relate to him more than any human. We have a similar personality, which isn’t always good; a stubborn rider
and horse can create some problems here and there. However, we make a great team and great pair. I could not ask for a better horse or better best friend.”
• 4D 2nd place – Streakna Lil Warpaint and
Cathy Baker with 68 points
• 4D 3rd place – Hawks Smoken Legacy and
Misty Schick with 59 points
• 4D 4th place – Dalts Superman Design and
Karen Orman with 55 points
• 4D 5th place – Tru Rusty Cash and Stephanie
Dingman with 44 points
