High Class Turnpike, the Paint Champion Running 3-Year-Old and Champion Running 3-Year-Old Filly of 2007, has produced two winners from four starters.
Her first winner, Gitter Dun Turnpike, is
a full brother to Painted Turnpike, being by PYC Paint Your Wagon. Gitter Dun Turnpike ran second in the 2014 Speedhorse Lone Star Paint & Appaloosa Futurity-G1 and was voted the Paint Champion Running 3-Year-Old Colt of 2015.
Imahotchicken-APHA (SF Royal Quick Flash-Game Chicken) took second by a head for jockey Ricky Ramirez. Dee Keener trains the filly for owner Charles Leggett. Imahotchicken was the Champion Running Breeding Stock 2-Year-Old Filly of 2015.
Keener also trains third-place Wagonette- APHA (PYC Paint Your Wagon-Shawne Chick), owned by Bryan Hawk and ridden by Jesus Salazar. Wagonette ran fourth to Painted Turnpike in the 2015 Speedhorse Lone Star Paint & Appaloosa Futurity-G1.
Completing the field were Barracuda- APHA (Judys Lineage-SB Kiss This Goodbye), MHM Hotwire-APHA (Cartel Success-Elaina Go Go), Sturgis-APHA (Dos Poruno-Biker Chick), Bull-APHA (Cartel Success-Memories Of Texas), Paleface Cartel-APHA (Cartel Success-Mightywhite Juno), Light Em Up Corona-APHA (Fire And Corona-Jungle Jane), and Cartel Chicken-APHA (Cartel Success- Kickin Chicken).
