Copper Spring Ranch Performance Horse Sale

The 2018 Copper Spring Ranch Performance Horse Sale was held Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018 at Copper Spring Ranch in Bozeman, Montana. The sale featured offspring from Furyofthewind, Dash Ta Fame, Prime Talent and Firewater Canyon, among others.
There were 61 horses consigned to the sale and 56 sold, with five repurchases, for a gross sale of $1,185,900.
The highest seller was sired by Dash Ta Fame. Topping the sale at $170,000 was Hip #24 DTF Time Traveler, a 2016 sorrel colt out of Moon Light Martha by Marthas Six Moons. Consigned by Bob and Darian Burt, DTF Time Traveler was purchased by Bill McKesson.
The second-highest seller at $84,000 was Hip #11 Peachy And Juicy, a 2016 palo-
mino filly by Blazin Jetolena and out of SX Frenchmans Peach. The Copper Spring Ranch consignee was purchased by Todd Matte.
The third highest seller at $65,000 was Hip #12, TR Judges Doll (Judge Cash-TR Dashing Badger, Mr Illuminator), a 2016 bay filly consigned by Thomas Ranch and purchased by Hailey Kinsel.

The 18th annual Fulton Family Performance Horse and Production Sale was held on Aug. 17, at Cherry County Fairgrounds in Valentine, Nebraska. The sale featured offspring of Fulton Family Performance Horse stallions, including A Streak Of Fling, CS Flashlight and A Dash Ta Streak as well as performance horses from a variety of other consignors.
A total of 39 horses were consigned to the sale and 33 sold for an average of $14,868. A Streak Of Fling led the ranks as the leading sire of 2 year olds with an average of $24,333. The stallion was also the leading sire of weanlings with an average of $12,125. CS Flashlight was second with his 2 year olds averaging $12,600 and his weanlings averaging $6,750.
Hip #3 Streakin Silkpanties was the sale topper at $62,000. Purchased by Rafael Celeste of Oklahoma, the 2016 bay roan filly is by
A Streak Of Fling and out of Famous Silk Panties. The second highest seller was Hip #2 Fling A Penny, a 2016 sorrel filly is also by A Streak Of Fling and out of Short Penny. Fling A Penny was purchased by Bee Silva of Texas for $43,000.
