Trial #1 –
The Nine One Eight (#5) broke on top and soared to a 1/2-length victory to secure the second fastest qualifying spot. Pevs Wire To Wire (#2) and Ivory Turnpike Two (#7) dueled throughout to finish second and third, respectively, securing the third and sixth qualifying spots. V Golden Game (#1) finished fourth to grab the eighth qualifying spot.

Trial #2 –
Race #3 JS Apollitical Chick (#1) broke in second, but made a late surge to secure the win and the ninth qualifying spot. El Flying Cowgirl (#2) was second and was followed by Southern Swagger (#6) in third.
