SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING

COVID 19 - EMERGENCY RESPONSE

Under the Golf Club Constitution Article 9.2 Special General Meetings, section 9.2.1, A Special General Meeting

of the Joint Club may be called by the Management Council.

The Management Council will now activate this right by calling a Special General Meeting. The date of this
meeting is to be confirmed and will be held at a time when Government protocols allow.

• The purpose of this Special General Meeting will be to seek approval for the introduction of an
Emergency Covid-19 Support Levy from all Members (excluding juniors) of €250.

Note: Early payment of €250 Levy will be rewarded with a complimentary book of vouchers worth €150.

This decision to ask for your approval to introduce an Emergency Covid-19 Support Levy for the financial year
2021 has not been taken lightly by the Management Council. We are very aware of the difficult financial times

ahead, for many members, either in business and/or personally.

However, we truly believe this levy is crucial to safeguarding the future of the Golf Club, therefore enabling us
to operate and trade through this difficult and unprecedented period. We are now asking you the Members of
Killarney Golf & Fishing Club to support the introduction of an Emergency Covid-19 Support Levy at the Special

General Meeting.

We will be in contact with you again shortly with full details on this important matter and to set a date for this
Special General Meeting.
