Master Association Hires New Management by Lisa Crockett
The Castle Pines North (CPN) Master Association has hired a new management company. Client Preference, a realty and management company, will now handle day-to-day operations and business matters — admin- istrative support, accounting services and governance guidance — for the CPN Master Association.
Anna Mallinson, treasurer of the Master Association board of directors, was an integral part of the board’s search to find a management company.
“Instead of providing us with ‘how they do it for other communities’we were offered a unique opportunity to say ‘this is how we want it’ — all for a fixed fee,” said Mallinson. “Already they have gone above and beyond in their service to us.”
CPN residents will now be able to pay dues and view account information online. As of press time, Client Preference planned to have online services available to all residents by October.
In the past, the Master Association was run solely by part-time contractors. Now, residents who need ser- vice or information will have ready access to what they need.
“Since management is our business, we are always avail- able to the residents to address their needs, concerns or matters they wish to bring before the board,” said Garry Schaffer, the Client Preference broker who, along with association manager Vickie Hunt, will han- dle management duties in CPN.

Teenagers should have a voice in the goings-on of the new city of Castle Pines North, and Mayor Shul
is putting out a second call for a Youth Advisory Commission. As the new city grows, the mayor feels it is important that all residents“have a seat at the table,” and make suggestions and voice concerns in order to further benefit the community.
Shul stated at the inception of this idea,“Teens should be given a direct line to the city’s government.”The youth of the fledgling city have much to contribute, she knows, and stresses that it is never too early for teens to become active participants in the happenings of their local government.
Residents of CPN who are 13 to 18 years old are urged tocontactthecommunicationsdepartmentwithaletter of interest and intent at communications@cpnhoa.org.
