Coach,

My name is Patrick Steenberge and I was fortunate to have the honor to play Quarterback and
letter two seasons under coach Ara Parseghian at Notre Dame. It was at school that I learned
the importance of teamwork and also of the power, influence and impact of international
travel.

The Global Varsity Games is an international sports tour & event that provides the opportunity
for young amateur athletes from different countries to compete against one another, while
experiencing and learning first-hand about each other's cultures, customs and history.

At the Global Varsity Games we believe in, and indeed see every year, the incredible effect of
educational sports travel. At the beginning of each new athletics season hundreds of our
travelers (players, staff, coaches, family, fans and friends included) return home better
citizens, more confident, more enthusiastic in the classroom and on the playing field; more
engaged in the world around them; better prepared for life and more likely to make a
difference to each other as teammates.

Participate in the Global Varsity Games and you’ll get your students’ attention and keep it. And
best of all you’ll make a difference in their lives. I encourage you to contact one of your fellow
