Jackson began his scouting adventure when he joined Cub Pack 650 in September 2015 and earned his Bobcat, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos Ranks, and the Arrow of Light Award. He crossed over to Troop 650 in December 2019, transferred to Troop 412 in October 2021, and earned his First Class Rank in May 2022. Jackson has served his Troops as Historian, Scribe, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, and acting Senior Patrol Leader.
Jackson is a Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow and has served as Vice Chief of Membership. He has earned 37 Merit Badges and the Stand-Up Paddleboard Award. Jackson has attended summer camp at Camps Rainey Mountain and Powhatan.
For his Eagle Project, Jackson built four picnic tables for the gazebo at Catty Shack Wildlife Sanctuary. He also enhanced the living space of one of the resident animals through the construction of a hammock for its enclosure.
Jackson is a sophomore at Middleburg High School where he’s a member of the National Junior Honor Society, the Academic Team, and was a member of the S.T.E.A.M. Academy in junior high. After graduation, Jackson would like to attend college to study Petroleum Engineering due to his love of math and geology.
