Evan began his scouting adventure when he joined Cub Pack 802 in September 2014 and earned his Bobcat, Tiger, and Webelos Ranks, and the Arrow of Light Award. He crossed over to Troop 892 in March 2019 and earned his First Class Rank in June 2020. Evan has served his Troop as Instructor, Quartermaster, and Patrol Leader.
Evan has earned 38 Merit Badges and has attended summer camp at Camps Davy Crockett and Woodruff.
For his Eagle Project, Evan built four picnic tables, each with umbrellas, as part of an outdoor learning space for Fleming Island Elementary School.
Evan is a junior at Orange Park High School where he is a member of the National Honor Society and a Student Government Officer for two years. He has pursued an American Welding Society two-year certification and plans to pursue additional welding certifications. After graduating, Evan’s goals include attending college to earn a degree in Welding Chemistry. He aspires to continue in that career by going to a professional welding technical school.
