Brent began his scouting adventure when he joined Troop 309 in September 2018 and earned his First Class Rank in July 2020. Brent has served his Troop as Instructor and Scribe.
Brent is a Brotherhood member of the Order of the Arrow and has earned 37 Merit Badges and the National Outdoor Award for Camping. He has attended summer camps at Camp Shands, Sequoya, and Buck Toms.
For his Eagle Project, Brent built a cross, podium, and replaced two benches with four picnic tables for Trinity Community Church. He also mulched, landscaped, and pressure washed the area and painted twenty-four posts around the parking lot.
Brent is a junior at Fleming Island High School where he’s a member of the National Honor Society and the Interact Club. After graduation, Brent plans to attend college and pursue a four-year degree in Medicine. After completing all prerequisite courses, he plans to take the Medical College Admission Test and apply to Medical School. He wants to help and save people because he feels it is an honor to aid those who are sick and in need.
