OUTSIDE MOUNT
Outside mount frames are flat on the back, and are mounted on the wall or existing trim surrounding the window opening.
L FRAMES
• Includes all L frames
• As Outside Mount; L Frame can be mounted directly to the drywall,
or on existing trim depending on the style.
• Provides projection which may be necessary to clear window glass or obstructions, allowing louvers to rotate.
• L frames are available in varying projections. See the Frame section in the Reference Guide for the detailed louver clearance information by frame type.
CASING FRAMES
• Casing Frames are designed for outside mount applications, creating a fully trimmed window appearance.
• Casing Frames work best when mounted directly to the drywall, but can be mounted on top of existing window trim depending on the style.
• Provides projection which may be necessary to clear window glass or obstructions, allowing louvers to rotate.
SILL FRAMES
• Generally used as the bottom frame of a shutter, a sill frame can rest on the existing sill or create the look of a sill when one does not exist.
