                MEASURING and SPECIFYING
ARCH/ANGLE TOP PANELS
• Louvers in an arch top or angle top panel are horizontal. A rear tilt bar may be used to provide as many operable louvers as possible. Louvers that cannot be connected to a tilt bar will operate independently. In some cases, some louvers may be fixed closed.
• When ordering arch top or angle top panels, the top most louver will always be stationary. One or more louvers directly below the top louver will not rotate, or may not fully rotate, and will not be connected to the front tilt bar or Gear Tilt mechanism. A rear tilt bar may be used to provide as many operable louvers as possible.
• Up/down louver closure may be ordered for Composite Shutters so that the look of the bottom rail will coordinate with other openings in the room, however, tight louver closure will only be achieved in the upward position.
• In most cases, templates are not required. Consult the Specialty Shape Order Form detail sheet in the Shutters Product Reference Guide for required measurements.
  SHUTTER VISUALIZATION TOOL
• The Shutter Visualization tool in eOrders will help visualize all applications for shutters, including café style, double-hung shutters and specialty shapes.
• Once the order or quote has been saved, select Reports/Visualization Report for visual rendering and order details.
• A visual rendering is also sent with every order confirmation. Always check the rendering and order details carefully so any mistakes can be corrected before the shutters are made.
