PATHOLOGY OF THE SPLEEN SPLENIC HEMANGIOMA
• The hemangioma is the most common benign tumor of the spleen.
• A splenic hemangioma will most often appear as a well defined hyperechoic mass.
• The patient with a hemangioma will be asymptomatic, although pay may occur with hemorrhage.
