Although we have a busy schedule, we all have to dig in to
accomplish our goals. If you would like to join our club or
Lions Clubs of Caroline volunteer, we welcome you. Our club does not meet in July
or August. We will meet the rst Tuesday in September.

Lion John Laddbush accompanied by family and
friends entered a oat in the Ridgely Lions Strawberry
Festival decorated with the “Strawberry eme.”
Our mammoth Carousel Lion was a big hit.
King Lion, Joe McCarthy and Lion Secretary
Allen Kinnamon attended the 30th Celebration
of the Friends of the Library at the Wharves in
Denton. McCarthy was on the original committee
when the Friends of the Library organized.
We plan to hold the Annual July 4th Games and Chicken
BBQ out to the Charles Bilbrough Memorial Park on
Rt. 480. Games for all ages (cash prizes); Sawdust Pile
will follow the games and free ice pops for all around
12 Noon. Chicken sales o cially begin at 11:00
am. Sales are brisk and we usually sell out by noon.
Chicken dinners will sell for $10.00 (Cash only).
