For Pinoys, one of the longest public holidays of the year is Holy
Week. This makes it a fun time to go for an out-of-town trip, travel

elsewhere, and do staycations. Whether you’re thinking of flying do-
mestically or internationally, or just looking for great destinations
this holiday season, let’s not forget though, the sole reason of observ-

ing the Holy Week.

A great Holy Week getaway is just around the corner. If you’re spend-
ing the holiday in Metro Manila, take advantage of Manila city’s many
historic churches, especially if your family will be doing Visita Iglesia

(a pious Roman Catholic Lenten tradition to visit seven churches on
the evening of Maundy Thursday). Some of the top picks for church-

es around Cavite area are St. Michael the Archangel Parish Bacoor,
Our Lady of the Pillar Cathedral Imus, and Immaculate Conception
Parish Church Dasmarinas. The Spanish-era architecture combined

with the religious celebration makes for a both exciting yet reflective
experience.
