The Gay Community
We came a long way to here, the gay community suffer in a way as a minority
and back in 60’s with another minority the black community together they
fought for Human rights and equality.
Till recent years the gay community was not allowed to bars or other public
places. I can only imagine what they have been through. Many got killed during
the process for equality.
In Greece during the period of HOUNTA dictator ship they use to knock the
door in suspicion that a gay man lived there they arrest him and that was the last
you ever saw of the man, your friend your brother .
They vanish after that and if you dare tyo ask where are they ? You will get no
answer as they pretend they do not know what are you talking about.
The gay community has been through violence racism and homophobia in a
modern way still is.
Today we have presidents and prime ministers been homophobic and racist but
they hide it well, if you be very careful and hear their speeches you will find
words direct to homophobia and racism.
Lets dive and go back where the gay community start to rebel against the
authorities.
