Rachel Ward
One of the most talked about tv events of the 80s was Australian mini-series, The Thorn Birds, starring English-born actress, Rachel Ward. Ward was also in Sharky’s Machine with Burt Reynolds and starred as a sexy but deranged serial killer in Night School - both movies often repeated during movie night at Koleq.
Ward is now 63. She is married to her Thorn Birds co-star, Bryan Brown, and lives in Australia.

Heather Locklear
Heather Locklear was probably one of the most successful actresses on television in the 1980s. She was on Dynasty and TJ Hooker and she continued her success in Melrose Place and Spin City in the 1990s. Locklear starred in a few Hollywood films like Firestarter (as Drew Barrymore’s mum) and The Return of the Swamp Thing but she is most famous for playing herself in Wayne’s World 2 (“We’re not worthy!”).
Locklear is now 59 and she married and divorced 2 rockers - Tommy Lee and Richie Sambora. She continues to act in films and tv - her last role was in Fresh Off The Boat in 2017.
