My warm congratulations to the graduates of 2024.
Your parents, teachers, and friends are proud of you for
reaching this far. But this is only the beginning as you will
now be pursuing a career that aligns with your passion and
values. You will now become an agent of development that
would allow you to contribute to the progress in the area
wherever your interests will bring you. Take advantage of
new experiences that come your way. Be ready with some
uncertainties and take these as opportunities for growth and
character building. But never stop learning. Keep seeking
knowledge and acquire skills that would make you abreast
of the ever-changing environment, be competitive, and stay
relevant in your profession. Whatever success you may
attain, keep connected with your mentors and share these
achievements to serve as an inspiration to the school. Let me
end with a quotation from Tom Brokaw, “You are educated.
Your certification is in your degree. You may think of it as the
ticket to the good life. Let me ask you to think of an alternative.
Think of it as your ticket to change the world.”
