A Look at Past Scholarship Recipients
What piece of advice do you think would be helpful something valuable- whether it be my passions, which
for others following in your footsteps? workplace dynamic best suits me, things I would not do
again, how to be a team player, or things I never thought
My advice would be to take as many experiences as
you can get. I have had a large variety of jobs through I would be doing, like assisting in the birth of a lamb. I
university and post-graduation, such as greenhouse have become confident and feel capable of learning and
researcher, teaching assistant, sheep farmer, gardener, executing new skills. That confidence is fulfilling, and I
landscape designer, caretaker for a quadriplegic person, encourage everyone to go out of their comfort zone.
