has required creative ideas such as using seat belts or
creating a special planter car seat out of boxes.
Lessne said, “Getting a van is on our wish list, but we’re
not there yet. As the business grows, we’ll look at financing
a van.”
For now, she said, “We’re amazingly successful in carting
plants around. For Make & Takes, all the equipment goes
in my Subaru; the flats go into Michaelle’s Prius. With mud up to our knees, it was
