Above: The Strauss Building is covered by a metal façade but you can still see the original architecture on the side of the building. Recently, it housed of ces and the Regency Rooms, which included banquet and meeting facilities. Plans call for the former department store to be redeveloped into apartments and condos along with space for an art gallery, commercial uses and community gatherings.
