Dayton: Riverview Avenue in McPherson Town
Left: Outbuildings and debris littered West Riverview Avenue – then called Lehman Avenue – after 17 feet of oodwater had almost completely receded. A high-water line above the second-story windows hints at the tragedy that occurred in the neighborhood, west of North Main Street, where several lives were lost.
