18.1 Trends and Intensity
Regular Searches trend shows a rapid increase from August until it peaked in October 2020 before gradually trending down. On the other hand, the Literature Discovery and Infometric Use trends show that both gyrate wildly around both averages. The Sessions trend reflects a smooth fluctuation around its average throughout the period (Figure 18.1.a).
