2.1 Trends and Intensity
The trends indicate that Literature Discovery and Regular Searches proliferated in August and peaked in November 2020 before experiencing a steady decline until February 2021 before rising again (Figure 2.1a).
Meanwhile, the Sessions and Infometric Use trends have shown that both remained relatively steady and fluctuated3 around the averages with a slight dip in April-May 2020 throughout the 18 months, except Infometric Use. It began rising rapidly in February and peaked in March 2021 before declining rapidly afterwards (Figure 2.1a).
