Sylvie and I have com- mitted to an additional year providing conti- nuity to our associa- tion. Personally, I believe in two/three term year limits and so this, my friends, will be my swan song.
The last contest of the year is the Arizona Stampede contest, scheduled for Decem- ber 28th in Phoenix, Arizona. California and Arizona teams will face tough com- petition from around the country as teams seeking to be KCBS ToY Champion will head west in search of capturing the ToY lead for 2020.
Our first CBBQA ToY contest will be Slab- O-Rama on January 18th in Bullhead City, AZ. This will be fol- lowed by our very own Golden State Battle II on January 25th, in Hollister, CA at the Casa de Fruta RV Re-

We share our deepest condolences to Hay- ward Harris and family who lost their beloved
Eva Harris last month. Eva was not only a founding member of our or- ganization but ar- dent supporter of all things BBQ. Her legacy will live on for BBQ genera- tions to come as the Brew-N-Que, Kid’s Q that has been renamed in her honor.
