Vice President’s Letter
Greetings fellow BBQ enthusiasts,
I would like to wish everyone a happy new year and once again thank Steph for his dedi- cation and service the past years serving as president. We all enter the year uncertain when we can all get back to some sort of normalcy. The board, officers and I have many goals this year. Priority number one is to ensure we have as many competitions and classes as possible, even if we have to get creative with local guidelines. With that said we have rescheduled the Golden State Battle III for April 17th & 18th 2021 in Hollister at Casa De Frutia. We are also please to announce we are making this a double header!!! I look forward to seeing you there. Other goals for early in the year are to get the new website up, offer multiple classes north and south and to add some new member benefits. I feel these goals will further advance our main objective of charitable contributions to many groups in need. As we start the new year I’m confident all our schedules will be filling up and be it competing, judging, volunteering, learning or promoting we will all be getting back to the sport/hobby we love.
