NBBQA Gatherings
Lead to Opportunities & Celebrations
By the time you read this, the NBBQA will have hosted about 6 of our new networking gatherings. These have proved to
be quite popular wherever they’re held and take on various forms from steak cook-offs to brunches. The purpose of these events is to bring NBBQA awareness to BBQ lovers who may have questions about what the NBBQA is and does. You’d be surprised how little many of our extended BBQ family knows of the association we love, and it’s our goal to change all of this. One of the ways we are doing this is with our NBBQA Networking events.

Boars Night Out has been around the BBQ circuit for years, winning championships, awards and having their rubs on shelves around the world. It wasn’t walys like this, however. Allen Smith and Eric Hodson have seen their share of BBQ disappointment much like ht rest of us. Standing in the crowd at awards only to walk
away empty handed and tired from all the hours put in. But they perservered through the bad times. The next time Boars Night Out would be near the top of the calls and finally they began to hear their name mentioned from the stage more often than not, with countless Grand Championships and 1st Place finishes, including the 2017 SCA World Championship.
